Where Professor J is Spending her Days

Ten days or so ago, I went to my regular weight watcher's meeting and found that, once again, I did not lose any weight. Yes. I was watching my weight stabilize. SO, I went to our local gym and signed up.

Not only did I sign up, I paid for several sessions with a personal trainer.

This is Adrian, my torturer personal trainer. I have worked with him three times, and boy am I sore! I am hoping that this new emphasis on physical activity will do the trick.

I brought Morgan along with me a few times, and she is having fun with the water exercise classes. They've been great with her, so I am a big fan of Gold's gym.

Yeah! You go, Prof J! I need to get back to the gym. I really liked working out with a personal trainer but the funds for that particular project are, uh, gone. Let me just say that personal motivation is a far cry from someone torturing you! Love that you're getting in there - I am rooting for you.

Oh yeah- I went to my first and second Bikram Yoga classes this Wednesday and last. WOW! I have never sweat so much in my whole entire life! It helps with the sore joints though.

Good for you! I would be very afraid of that man so the fact that you've already worked out with him three times and survived is very impressing to me.

He looks kind and fun. And good for you to get to the gym. I, myself, need to get my fanny to the gym... PRONTO.

That's fantastic! Nothing like encouragement and incentive. Best of luck to you,
I'm glad you found a good gym. It makes all the difference.

My weight won't budge either. It's frustrating.

Here's to our pursuit of health.

Please take care.

Good! For! You!!

I think personal training is the way to go. We are never that hard on ourselves. You WILL get results! Read my Boot Camp posts for inspiration if you need some! (Boot Camp was like group personal training.)

Keep us posted. We are all rooting for you.

Cheri, I'm gonna tell Adrian about this. I think it's fun to make boys blush.

He looks like he could whip anyone right into shape. And I'm glad Cheri's the one who said it. Velvet glove, baby.

GL and good for you!!

You go Professor! Have fun!

Yo Adrian! (sorry, couldn't resist)
That's great!

omg, I so need to do this, too. I need some serious cardio exercise every week.

And your trainer looks like no one to mess with even though he's smiling. Those personal trainers are sneaky that way, trying to look all personable, and then whipping you into shape.
Awesome, Professor J! He looks like a big teddy bear, but I'm sure it's not all fun and games. Keep us posted - I need some inspiration to get motivated myself.
