Busy Getting Ready for the Spring Semester

I've been working on syllabi, attending meetings, going to the dentist, and all sorts of fun stuff this week, so I've been away from the blogs.

But I DID purchase Photoshop yesterday, so I'm looking forward to some fun!

Anyway, here's a little something

You Are a Cupcake

Cute and fun, you never take life too seriously.

People are constantly surprised by how delightful you are.

Photoshop is addictive (but not as intuitive as you might imagine). Have fun!
I'm a Brownie:

"Decadent and intense, you aren't for the weakhearted. Those who can deal with your strong flavor find out how sweet you really are."

I'm not sure if this is complimentary or not.

Oh, and I'm cheesecake, which is sort of unfortunate, because I hate the stuff.

Love your header graphic, btw.

Ah, Photoshop...my beguiling, time-sucking, soft(ware) lover.

Get to work! Let's see some Dogs in Funny Costumes. Or Dogs in Space. Or Dogs as Prominent American Political Figures of the 1800's.

Chop, chop.

ah, Melanie. Dogs as prominent political figures of the 19th century? I can see it now. . . Dinah is Elizabeth Caddy Stanton and Alice is Susan B. Anthony! I could do literary figures, too. Emily Dickinson and Christina Rossetti! w00t!

Well, when you learn how to use the damn thing, will you come over here and show me. I'll expect to hear from you sometime in '09. There are way too many instructions.

Have a nice weekend, cupcake.
I have my eyes on Photoshop because I need another hobby. Well, I really don't, but it looks like so much fun.

(I was a s'more. I hate marshmallows. I'm going to pretend I'm a cupcake too.)

You will surely need one of those "Dummies" books, not that I'm saying anything against you at all, my friend... you know what I mean. The book helps.

Oh, and I'm cheesecake. Just as I suspected.

Oohhh....have fun with Photoshop. And please post some of your experiments.

I'm tiramisu. I don't even like tiramisu.

I want to be buttercream icing. Just icing.

Or...I just want to eat buttercream icing.

Have fun with the new addition(photoshop)I'don't have it but I'm told that you can do funthings with it.
What do you know: I was exactly the dessert I would choose. Strong, simple fresh strawberries with real cream dribbled on them. Num, and this from the girl who just blogged about puking all over someone's yard today. So I must be on the mend if strawbabies sound good. . .
Oh to be a cupcake :)

I am a brownie, as well; I really like the description of "not for the weak hearted."
Thanks for the silly fun. As for photocrack, my husband used it for the illustrations in a book he's soon publishing and he LOVES it. Really, that program is amazing. The Dummies book is a great idea, btw, because the instructions for that program are never ending...
Have fun.

I am strawberries with cream. "Fresh and uncomplicated, you are always enjoyed but oftern overlooked." WAAAAAA Overlooked? Caffeine or chocolate - decide between them? Impossible.

This was fun! I want Photoshop!
