Me Too! Endorsing Hillary Clinton

"Women have come so far as feminists that they don't feel obligated to vote for a candidate just because she's a woman. Women today feel perfectly free to make whatever choice Oprah tells them to."

The idea that women have to be bitches to be successful is a slap in the face to all women. Tina Fey is trying to be funny, but her comments only reinforce a stereotype that has held women back for years in the workplace. Maybe women need to be problem solvers to get things done, not bitches.

I saw this last night, and I had an entirely different take on it than anonymous. I thought it was making fun of the fact that HC is being judged not for her political skills but for her status as universal bitch. I can't ever think of a male candidate that has been labeled by the country and the press as the world's biggest asshole or bastard.

Woo hoo! This got me all excited again. . . like I was after New Hampshire. Sigh. . . those halcyon days when I felt like women everywhere were kickin' it.

I won't give up the dream yet. I won't!

And Mrs. G., you're absolutely right. George W. Bush wasn't labeled as the world's biggest asshole until long after he became president. At least he was given a chance!

I heart Tina Fey.

I love Tina Fey...and her entire show rocked. I was so glad she spoke out for Hillary...I'm tired of all the Obama fanaticism...it make me nervous.

I, too, saw Tina Fey, last night. She was terrific, and her comments about Hilary were RIGHT ON! She was SO making fun of the fact that she is judged for being a woman rather than a bright, intelligent political person.

I am in agreement with Poet on the Obama fascination. Makes me a bit wary too.
Shucks...can't access the clip outside North America. :(

Love the quote, though!

I have heard a lot about McCain being real bastard to work for.

Anyways - who wants to go in with me on making the t-shirts that say Bitch is the new black - those oughta make us some money!

Yes, they do say that about McCain, don't they? And if NBC doesn't come out with t-shirts within a week, they're fools! I want a black t-shirt with a nice font.

I would not vote McCain for dog catcher. If he gets elected it will be another 4 years of business as usual and the country goes further in debt.
You can say all the negitive crap you like about Bill Clinton.Just remember he gave the bush white house a ballanced budget and little or no debt to speak of. So what happened in the last 7 years,we owe more money that can be posssibly paid off in our lifetime, hell maybe be in ouir childrens life time as well our greandchildren will still be paying off the deficite.
